nineteen21 is the new operating name for John Barrington, an Irish based Photojournalist who has been active in sports writing for over 20 years, and who in 2004 took up photography to add to his skills.

In that short time since  he has travelled all over Europe covering the Republic of Ireland and UEFA club competitions on a freelance basis, and for Sportsfile, Ireland's leading Sports Photographic Agency.

nineteen21 are fully insured, including public liability cover, and the principal is a member of the Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland, Association of Irish Sports Journalists, International Sports Press Association (AIPS) and holds an FA Licence.

nineteen21 images have been published by all of Ireland's national newspapers, both broadsheet and tabloid and have also published on RTE's, the national broadcaster, website along with publication in Swedish, Latvian and Maltese media.
